Bespoke Wedding Dresses

If you have your own ideas and design for a wedding dress that will be totally unique and made specifically for you, then please get in touch.  

Based just outside of London in West Wycombe, Jo offers a personal and experienced service which will take you gradually through the dressmaking experience, collaborating with you on how to make the perfect wedding dress, based on your own style, body shape and theme of your wedding.  You are invited to be as creative as you want, or keep a traditional style but with modifications to suit your wedding.  All fittings for your bespoke wedding dress will be held at Jo’s studio in West Wycombe, Bucks.

Once the design has been finalised, Jo will make a toile (a draft) of the dress which will be fitted to you.  At this point, you can tweak the style now you have a 3D version of the design.  From here, Jo will make a final pattern of your wedding dress and the finished design will be made.  You will have a series of fittings to make sure the dress is perfect and you feel totally comfortable and fabulous walking down the aisle.

I don’t even know how to put it into words but everything about the wedding was incredible, I’ve been so overwhelmed for the last few days and although I’m not a particularly emotional person I’ve cried with happiness so many times (I just about managed to squeak my way through my vows…). 

This specific dress was so fundamental to me and I can’t express enough how perfect it was, you really made this idea of my dream dress into something tangible, it was THE dress that I’d always envisioned since I was a teenager and I really don’t think I’d have felt right in any other dress. I’m just so glad it could be made and didn’t have to remain as a daydream. I really did get a lot of very sincere compliments, not just that the dress was pretty (the silhouette itself, the beautiful fabric etc) but more that it clearly was perfect for me and my figure. It sat perfectly on my waist, the train sat so beautifully, the buttons created this beautiful line, and by some odd miracle I actually felt comfortable all day! - Claire 2022
