• How many people can I bring to my fitting?

    2-3 max

  • What do I need to bring?

Shoes - Always your shoes! Underwear you want to try with the dress to see how it looks. Your hoop/ underskirt if you plan to wear one. Feel free to bring accessories and veil if you want to see the outfit together.

  • I don’t want to wear a bra - is that OK?

Yes, for the most part a combination of sewn-in cups and dress fitting should give you support on a dress that has structure. A soft fit dress however will never be able to give your bust support. Cups will inly give a small amount of shaping and nipple coverage. Get in touch to discuss more if you have concerns.

  • What underwear should I wear?

Most wedding dresses work best with a nude seam free knicker/ short/ thong. White can often show under white so if you dress doesn’t have many layers, go with nude.

  • How long should I allow to get into my dress?

Depending on the dress, but roughly allow 30mins, especially if your dress has any corsetry or buttons which require doing up.

  • What if my dress is creased when I get to the venue?

If there’s any chance your dress is going on a plane or in a car for a long period of time, it will crease. I would recommend getting a small garment steamer, testing it in advance, and carefully steaming out any creases the night before the wedding, just incase there's any moisture from the steam which needs to dry.
